David Ko is an accomplished marketing professional with a proven track record in driving results across a wide range of industries. Currently, he serves as the Director of Marketing and Communications for Gay Games Hong Kong on a pro bono basis, where he oversees all aspects of marketing and PR, from branding to government relations.<\/p>\n

In his current role, he leads a talented team of over 20 marketing and communications specialists, collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders to execute cohesive campaigns that engage audiences and drive attendance to the event. He also plays a crucial role in establishing and maintaining relationships with local and international partners, sponsors, and government agencies, ensuring the Gay Games Hong Kong receives the support and recognition it deserves.<\/p>\n

As a staunch advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, David is committed to using his 30 years of marketing experience to bring attention to the positive impact of the Gay Games and champion diversity and inclusion in sports and the broader community.<\/p>\n

David is also head of Asia for Ruder Finn Interactive (RFI), the marketing and branding arm of global marketing agency Ruder Finn. Prior to Ruder Finn, David was head of WE Communications Asia, managing a network across China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and India as well as joint ventures in South Korea and Australia.<\/p>\n
